Of 98 cat O2 trailers checked, only 29 would have avoided a prohibition from DVSA Enforcement. A 70% failure rate on this one issue alone!.
That follows on from 62% at my last visit, 3 months ago…
On both visits there were additionally, the usual suspects, brakes disconnected, no handbrake, no triangles, lighting faults, hub caps missing, structural problems, number plate faults…etc etc🙄😡
Category O2 trailers should be subject to registration, MoT tests, and regular inspections, this simply isn’t good enough!
